It was a night of couture in conclusion to Phoenix Fashion Week this year and all I can say is WOW, just wow. Too much creativity that paved the runway and I loved every part of it. I’m sneezing sparkles. Previewing these looks on the runway really made my day. It was an incredible finale featuring some of AZ’s emerging designers: Adoire by Saba – the artisanal craftsmanship of Samar Bashir, Hues of Ego – loved the bold classic designs of this collection, Jacqueline Nicole – for the modern day “princess”, such a lovely group of dresses, Lillienne Lange – for the sophisticated chic, and Rayan by LA based designers Nadia & Nora. Moving along, the night ended with established couture designers such as, Kenneth Harion Couture – who definitely topped it off with the most flashy collection of the night, as well as the elite luxury couture fashions of Yen, and last but not least – filipino designer Rocky Gathercole who repped the runway! I had fun capturing his crazy over the top avant garde designs the most. I also wanted to mention Possibility Jewelry – which completed some of the looks on the runway. Such elegant craftsmanship. Above all else, it’s nice to see the effort Phoenix is doing to push fashion forward. I’m excited to see what next year has to give and what’s in store for the future. Also, hoover over to Indie Stitch and check out some more coverage. Yayy.
